KANSAS DEMOCRATIC PARTY HOSTS GUBERNATORIAL FORUM IN JOHNSON COUNTY

Senators Ethan Corson & Cindy Holscher take center stage in JoCo Forum

TOPEKA KS – The Kansas Democratic Party will host a gubernatorial candidate forum on Sunday April 26, at the Aztec Shawnee Theater in Johnson County. This forum will feature leading candidates Ethan Corson and Cindy Holscher. Both candidates have agreed to participate in the roughly 75-minute forum.

This forum replaces the previously scheduled Dole Institute forum and will focus on issues that have been identified as important to younger voters. All questions will be submitted from the Kansas Young Democrats and their chapters across the state.

“Our two leading candidates for the Democratic nomination are both from Johnson County and we feel strongly that it is important to give them the opportunity to deliver their plans for the future of Kansas in front of their home constituents.” Said KDP Chairwoman Jeanna Repass.

This forum will be free to attend and registration is required before arrival. This forum will not be livestreamed.
